Completed his graduation in Administration and Management on 29 October 1999 at the Faculdade de Ciências Económicas e Empresariais from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Has the professional qualifications of Chartered Auditor (registered in the Order under number 1281) and Accountant (inscribed in the Order under number 71181) and his career can be summarized as following:

 

Between 1999 and 2001he worked as an analyst of financial statements of companies with the propose to setting credit limits, in BPI bank.

 

From 2001 to 2007 he has provided tax consulting, management and financial reporting services for many companies, as a partner in company Pinto Leite & Machado Vaz, Lda.

 

He had successful results on the course and examinations for Chartered Auditor in 2004, when the stage began on company Fátima Pinto e Vitor Freire, SROC.

 

In 2006, he entered in Order of Chartered Accountants Auditors under number 1281, when he has joined as a partner on company Fátima Pinto e Vitor Freire, SROC.

 

In late 2007, he left the company Fátima Pinto e Vítor Freire, SROC to start a new project. From there on the company Pinto Leite & Machado Vaz – Sociedade de Revisores Oficiais de Contas, Lda. was formed and he is a partner since its foundation.

 

In 2009, he concluded a postgraduate program in Tax Planning at ISAG, taught in collaboration with the PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 

In 2012, he concluded a course in “International Tax Planning” at the International Tax Center of the University of Leiden (Netherlands)

 

André da Silva Antunes Machado Vaz, is from Lisbon and was he born on 8 August 1974.

 

He completed his graduation in Economics at Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto, on 18 September 1998.

 

He is a Chartered Auditor since 2007 (entered in Order under number 1307) and is also Chartered Accountants (inscribed in Order under number 64335). His career can be summarized as follow:

 

Between 1995 and 1997, as a financial adviser, worked on accounting coordination on training courses financed by the FSE and preparation of investment projects for lines of applications incentive such as RIME, SAJE, etc..

 

In 1998 he created the company APS – Alimentação e Prestação de Serviços a Pessoas Temporariamente Deslocadas, Lda., which aim was the provision of Services to Displaced Temporarily Persons particularly in the areas of demand for accommodation, catering and cleaning services). In APS was managing partner and responsible for finance.

 

Between 1999 and 2001 he worked as financial director at the company Antunes & Irmão – Equipamentos Industriais, S.A., where he was responsible for areas of accounting and taxes.

 

From 2001 to 2007 he provided tax consulting, management and financial reporting services for many companies, as a partner in company Pinto Leite & Machado Vaz, Lda.

 

In 2004 he had successful results on Chartered Accountants Auditors examinations and then began the stage in company Fátima Pinto e Vítor Freire, SROC.

 

In 2007 he entered in Order of Chartered Accountants Auditors under number 1307, when start a new project founding Pinto Leite & Machado Vaz – Sociedade de Revisores Oficiais de Contas, Lda. as partner.

 

In 2009, he concludes a postgraduate program in International Tax Law at ISAG, taught in collaboration with the PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 

Since 2013, he is an expert in Principles of International Taxation - Advanced Diploma in International Taxation, at the Chartered Institute of Taxation (London)
